The first should be pretty self-evident. But the spoiler rule should be examined a little closer. This group is for all fans and potential fans of GRRM's work, regardless to what level of expertise in these works one might have. In simple terms, don't assume that everyone has read all of the books or seen all of the episodes.

There will be places for spoilers to be discussed, but these will be clearly marked and it will be enforced at all times that no one shall have their GRRM experience ruined by inconsiderate postings. The moderators will be as gentle as possible with helping to keep a fun atmosphere here, but repeat offenders that refuse to adhere to this simple courtesy will be assigned to Ser Ilyn Payne.
