As the title says, I can't get this game to run on Windows 10 (64-bit). Every solution I've tried on the Steam and GOG forums so far has resulted in absolutely nothing.

What happens when I press "Play" on Galaxy is that it doesn't load, then the game is like "Syncing", and then it gives me the option to press play again. When I try launching the game from its directory or a shortcut... nothing happens at all.

This is the only game on GOG (or Steam) I can't get to run on my PC, which is a shame because I've heard great things. Please advise.

Have you tried downloading the installer instead of running it through GoG Galaxy?

Yup, no luck unfortunately
I can't launch it either. I have windows 10 too. This is weird, because there seems that there are people who can play this on windows 10 , but also there seems to be people who can't. I wonder what percentage of people can't launch it and what is causing the issue. I couldn't lauch the game using dgVoodoo either. Maybe it's something other than operating system?
Try running the game as an admin.
Anyone managed to get it to work? Tried edditing the config file and using the widescreen patch, but none solved the problem :(
Important Edit: It will not work on my natively Windows 10 machine, I just installed through Wine and ran it.
Windows is Embarrassing!

This same issue occurs with Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth.
It runs fine through Steam, but GOG will not run. It is missing libraries, redistributable C++ or Windows Media Player codecs for example.
Does Second Sight have redist packages in the Steam version?

Steam users are having the same issue with Second Sight. I also don't know why Call of Cthulhu worked from my Steam and not from my GOG, Windows 10 threw up a message saying Call of Cthulhu was for an older version of windows and would not run, as the game started up anyway and worked fine just with some missing effects. Developers Developers Developers!

Just as heads up, I got the game to work on Windows 11 perfectly with no additional input. I'll take it lmao
