Be sure to reserve some time this coming weekend if you enjoy playing XDefiant by Ubisoft. This free shooter will feature a team deathmatch. The devs decided to add it to the game on June 21, which is before the start of Season 1.

Team deathmatch in XDefiant won't be time-limited. Fans of online shooters should be well acquainted with its rules - a team must eliminate a specific number of opponents faster than their competing team. As the following post from the game's developers shows, this form of play was highly anticipated by the community.

Let's recall that the first season will begin on July 2nd. On this day, fans will receive another mode - Capture the flag. Besides that, the FPS will also get a fresh faction, new maps, and cosmetic items.

XDefiant was released on May 21, 2024 and drew a lot of interest. Just 2 days after its release, the Ubisoft shooter was tried out by 3 million unique players, turning it into a true success for the French company.

You can only play the popular FPS on PC via the Ubisoft Store. Console players, on the other hand, can have fun on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4, as well as on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
