Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is the 21st main installment of the best-selling FPS series published by Activision, and the sixth part of the Call of Duty: Black Ops subseries, launched in 2010.

The game is the result of collaboration between a number of development studios, under the wings of an American publisher, led by Treyarch and Raven Software. In addition, teams such as Beenox (authors of the PC version), High Moon Studios, Infinity Ward, and Sledgehammer Games also participated in its preparation.

Campaign

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 gives us a story campaign set in the early 1990s, just after the end of the Cold War. It is a continuation of the events presented in Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War. Moreover, it includes references to memories from the 1980s, which we could see in Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

The campaign is kept in the style of a spy thriller and features characters known to fans, such as Frank Woods and Russell Adler, as well as completely new characters - Troy Marshall and Jane Harrow. Following the trail of a global political conspiracy, we visit the Russian tundra, the desert in the Middle East, Southern Europe and the United States.

We complete missions, during which we have to both act quietly and participate in spectacular events and intense shootouts, using weapons and gadgets straight from the action movies of the late 20th century. Between the missions we go to a hideout that serves as a hub, where we can learn more about individual characters and the plot, unlock various improvements, solve a number of puzzles and choose further assignments to undertake.

Multiplayer

The second pillar on which Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is built is the online multiplayer mode. It includes both the main variant of the game for two six-person teams, as well as the Strike mode, designed for 2vs2 or 6vs6 matches. 16 new maps were prepared for the game's premiere - 4 for Strike mode and 12 for the main mode.

The Prestige system (Classic Prestige) returns here, thanks to which after reaching the highest rank we can gain access to various bonuses. There was also no shortage of cinema mode, as well as new interface settings; the latter include the ability to change the position of the minimap and completely disable selected HUD elements.

Zombies Mode

The third pillar of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is the Zombies mode within which we fend off subsequent waves of the living dead, fighting alone or in coop with other players. As we progress, we unlock various improvements that increase our combat potential, and consequently - allow us to survive longer on the battlefield. At the time of the premiere, two maps were made available in this mode - Liberty Falls and Terminus.

Omnimovement

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 offers a completely new, realistic character movement system was created from scratch, called Omnimovement. Thanks to it, we can perform smooth moves, including running, sliding and diving in any direction. It also made possible to rotate in a lying position, which further increases our freedom of movement and expands the range of tactical possibilities on the battlefield.
