Every year, games appear out of the blue, usually small and independent, and make a huge impression. Without any announcements, publicity, nor marketing campaigns, they just release, someone sees their potential and often through word of mouth, thanks to the snowball effect, they can gain the status of a cult hit. Everyone plays them – even if the phenomenon is a short, temporary fad. This summer, a game exactly like this also appeared, and it was called Cult of the Lamba game that outsold, for example, Spider-Man's debut on PC, attracting over a million players in a week.

The game amazed players not only with roguelike mechanics, but also an unusual theme. The protagonist is a little lamb, whose task is to form a sect full of obedient followers. Suffice it to say that the creators were even accused of heresy. Pleasing audiovisual setting and affordable price completed the set of reasons to make a success – even if it didn't last all that long.

Offering a great balance of battling and managing, Cult of the Lamb offers you the best of both worlds and provides you with enough of each genre to make it an engaging experience. Its colony management elements may not be as intricate as you would hope, but it does offer a good amount of customization and freedom to shape your cult how you want.
