Preteen - no longer a child, not yet a teenager. The Sims 4: Best Mods to Download in 2024

Table of Contents

Some players of The Sims have long been convinced that the life stages of our characters are too restricted. In the latest installment of the Sims series, from mischievous children on playgrounds, we go straight to high school graduates.

The Preteen modification introduces a completely new stage between child and teenager into the game. Young teenagers are visibly shorter than their older peers, undergo more effects of raging hormones (physically and mentally), and attend junior high school.

The only drawback here is the animations that sometimes look unnaturally (due to the change in character height), but if you can overlook that, you have the chance to significantly alter the long-term stories of your families.

NC4T Begging Mod - become a beggar

Do you like tormenting yourself and your virtual pets while playing The Sims 4? This is very likely to happen, given that one of the most popular community challenges is the "rags to riches" gameplay, which involves building wealth from nothing.

The perfect addition to such challenges is the NC4T Begging mod. With the new feature of a beggar, we have to rely on the generosity of others, starting our adventure in the style of a "rags to riches" story. The donations received from others will depend on their character traits and our level of begging skills.

Even if you'd prefer to make your Sims richer in a more conventional manner, installing the modification will allow you to encounter NPCs requesting money in the game world, adding variety to world exploration and introducing an additional, rather gritty layer of realism.

Began her professional writing adventure for Gamepressure.com in 2022, but she has always been interested in all forms of the written word. A student of Film and Multimedia with a specialization in Game Design and Development, deeply follows the blurring boundary between these two worlds. Sometimes, embarrassingly, appreciates style over substance. In the case of media, more often than not, goes to extremes; she can never choose between documentaries and horror films, and cozy games, life simulators, and animations. You will find her playing old-school consoles and indie gems rather than AAA titles. Devotes her free time to her love of fashion and art in a broader sense. Believes that the plot is the most crucial element of a game, and the most compelling stories are the ones inspired by everyday life.
