Dragon Age: Origins is one of the larger productions in the RPG genre and you can spend dozens or even hundreds of hours with it. This guide page contains detailed information about the game's length. In separate sections, you will find out how much time it takes to complete the main storyline, side quests and DLCs. Base campaign

1. The main storyline of Dragon Age: Origins takes a lot of time. It has a lot of quests and many of them are long. The average time to complete the main story is about 40-45 hours. This may be extended if you set one of the higher difficulty levels, where you may have to repeat some of the more difficult fights.
2. There are plenty of side quests in the game - both more extensive quests (including companion quests) and small ones like those where you are ordered to kill a specific monster. Doing them will extend the play time by another 20-30 hours.
3. If you want to fully discover the basic content of the game, you should take into account that you will spend at least 90 hours.

Story DLCs

DA: Origins has a large number of story expansions. Some of the DLCs are clearly smaller, while others are more extensive. Below you will find a list of story expansions with information about their size:

1. Golems of Amgarrak - The main story of this DLC will take you about 1 hour, and completing the DLC in 100% is about 2 hours.
2. The Stone Prisoner - It will only take you about 1 hour to complete the entire content of this expansion.
3. Darkspawn Chronicles - The main story of this DLC is about 2 hours, and 100% completion takes around 3 hours.
4. Leliana's Song - The full playthrough of this DLC, which serves as a prologue to the campaign, takes approximately 2 hours.
5. Witch Hunt - Completing the main plot of this DLC takes 1-2 hours, and doing everything in it is about 3 hours.
6. Return to Ostagar - This is one of the smaller story DLCs, which will take you about 90-120 minutes to complete.
7. Awakening - This is the biggest story expansion. Its main plot is about 12-14 hours of gameplay. It takes approximately 20-23 hours to experience all of the DLC's content.
8. Warden's Keep - This is a small DLC that should take you less than 2 hours to complete in 100%.
