The programme sees the return of local accordionist and musician Steve Roxton, the ever popular Tees Valley World Drummers from Middlesbrough, Dennis Teeth on his Musical Saw and another performance by the Artemis stilt walkers.

Fiddler and singer Morris Ardoin is the son of famed Creole accordionist Alphonse 'Bois Sec' Ardoin, who's still playing today, at the age of 87.

All the songs were in French and, although accordionist Yves Lambert made a few brief introductions in English, the audience could have done with a little more help in knowing what the songs were about (I'm thinking in particular of a beautiful sounding ballad performed by Bordeleau in the first half)

Music will be provided by local singer Adele Henderson, accordionist Jim Wiseman and piper Travis Gordon.

The next meeting is on Dec-ember 4, when accordionist Gordon Pattullo will be guest, accompanied by drummer Malcolm Ross.
