I currently draw and write a fantasy/comedy/horror comic called Monster Knight. Latest page are uploaded here first.

I also entertain a more comedic modern werewolf setting called Wolf Country, which uses many of the same character designs. A couple old comics in my gallery are set in Wolf Country. Most of the work in that setting is just silly doodles whenever I feel like it.

I began reading comics as a hobby with webcomics and reverse-engineered my tastes to include mainstream published work. I hope to be able to figure out my way to comfortably draw my own comics and write my own stories.

Webcomics

Checked in on the webcomic Paranatural for the first time in a while and found out that a couple years ago it transitioned from comic pages to a prose + illustration format, apparently due to health (Recurring wrist injury? Geez) and other stuff making continuing in the comic format unsustainable. This would be the second time I’ve seen a really high-quality color webcomic with a sort of long-form “fight shonen” story structure transition into this format, the other being Poppy O’Possum which eventually got dropped by the creator for a comic strip format project, (potentially NSFW warning) Shallowskin. Paranatural still looks interesting and the art still looks super sick, but its making me think about the scope of independent projects that can be told sustainably with comics pages alone. Also makes me think how all those 10+ year long shonen manga and anime that inspired people also really screwed up a lot of people’s perception of scope for their own stories, lol. Granted, even
