One step, two steps, three steps, four Cautious, slow steps towards the door Don't turn your back, don't meet it's eyes, just don't let It out of your sight. This we may feel, and this we may think, when fear pushes us onto the brink. i remember the old days when a ten-minute walk meant home, pool, and sea i had to wash the sand off before i could play and many pictures were taken to capture the memories i remember the beach clearly and walking to the beach bazaar eating tuna wraps with my family to a child the short trek probably felt far now i'm older and haven't been back in years selling the place was necessary and all good things must end but when i dive inside my mind, it's clear i smell the salt and see the blue, even if it's all pretend one day i'll go back i'll walk along the shore pick up the shells, maybe make some knickknacks and relive the days i knew before

night after night they change their shape waxing and waning light that have us watching agape soft serenity among twinkling stars a natural lamplight for the lost ones affecting our world despite being far the cycle of change occurs within a month in art we often see it as an orb cut in half much like which the ignorant few convey while the knowing many will laugh that this world is flat is the wrong thing to say what the flat earthers can't come to grips is obvious by it's curved crescent much like what is seen in an eclipse which is proof of this spherical lesson but regardless of what one has to say i'm sure none of us can disagree that the moon is beautiful in every way especially when reflected on the sea
