Air Quality Index for Western Australia
Hourly update of air quality in Western Australia.-
Air Quality Index 24-07-2024
The Air Quality Index (AQI) for nitrogen dioxide (NO2), ozone (O3) sulfur dioxide (SO2) and particles (PM10 and PM2.5) are based on clock hour averages while carbon monoxide (CO) is based on 8 hour moving clock averages.
AQIs represent the concentration of the the gaseous pollutants based on National Environment Protection (Ambient Air Quality) Standard reached for each gas pollutant and enHealth advice on one-hour averaged particle concentrations. Concentrations are measured as ppb (parts per billion), ppm (parts per million) or ug/m3 (micrograms per cubic metre).
AQI MAX represents the maximum Air Quality Concentration recorded since midnight.
AQI NOW represents the Air Quality Concentration of the most recent clock hour.Armadale A.Q.M.S. AQI MAX AQI NOW PM10 20 ug/m3 12 ug/m3 PM2.5 15 ug/m3 8 ug/m3 The Armadale A.Q.M.S.
