New version beta 1.3, finally here with new screenshots!


[How to play]

No other mods needed! Just subscribe from workshop, apply "kolhoz" mod in settings menu and you are good to go!

You can play in singleplayer or host a server and play with max 8 players. Map is found in /skirmish/ folder at
the bottom of the list.


[Mission description]

In this map you control 16 soviet soldiers who are defending small village from attacking Germans. They come in waves and you have few minutes between them to repair enemy equipment, defenses and organize soldiers. The map has some cool features like carrying fallen members of your group to medic and airplane supply drops. The amount of
enemy waves is not limited, feel free to post your high score!


Gameplay tips:

-Kolhoz is very hard map and you might not get far at first time. If you keep failing, try a different strategy and position your soldiers and equipment differently.
-Find a friend to play with. Its much easier to play this in co-op when you don't have to control every soldier by yourself.
-Use the time between waves to repair vehicles, plant mines and carry wounded soldiers to medic.
-Make sure that every soldier has weapon, ammunition and bandages. You can find those in crates.
-Keep soldiers in cover from enemy vehicles.
-KV1 wreck in the map can be fixed with welder. Go near the tank with a soldier and you get the side objective. The repairs take some time and work but it's surely worth the effort.
-Use reinforcements wisely, order plane supplies just where you need them so you don't have to carry stuff around with soldiers.
-Mortar and stationary MG's can be very useful at keeping enemy out from the village but keep in mind that they run out of ammo very quickly.
-You can capture enemy tanks by destroying their engine or tracks. If the tank is unable to move when wave retreats, the crew will jump out and leave the tank behind.
-When you see that enemy brings artillery to battlefield, try to destroy it with plane reinforcements.



[New things!]

-Added elite sniper soldier to player, take good care of him as he is only one in squad who
can use sniper rifle properly.

-If you use mines, enemy will try to clear them with mine detectors and vehicles.

-Germans have now paratroopers with special training. Be careful if you see enemy plane in the sky.

-King Tiger is added to enemy troops, it will come in at wave 12 and possibly after that, if you survive that far!


[Fixes]

-Adjusted the cost of plane supplies and infantry reinforcements to make gameplay more balanced.

-Wave counter now works after every wave.

-Enemy will no longer rush to middle of the village with vehicles, they take more supportive role now.

-Improved medic script.

-If you kill most of the attacking wave and break the morale, remaining enemy soldiers will flee.

-Various other scripts and bug fixes.

- Playing on NORMAL, I finished at Wave 14, because I read that the waves start to repeat after wave 13. It seemed just repetitive after that point.
- It would be nice if there was a way to end the mission positively. For instance, there is a radio object near a barn in the top left corner that is titled "strange box." It seems like the Designer could make it so that you could call on it after wave 14 for an evacuation. I couldn't find a use for this box.
- Is there a sense as to the time period when this mission takes place, like June 1941- late fall 1941?

- You can carry allied corpses/fallen bodies to the field hospitol with the doctor and he might revive them, dependingon their wounds. A downside is that taking your soldiers to the hospitol ends up resetting their equipment, so it can be better to just lay them in the middle of the compound and remove their useful ammo before carrying them into the hospitol.
- On round 7, I sent airplane rockets to attack the red circle where a message said that the enemy is setting up artillery. The countdown to the rocket attack continued, but I didn't get hit with rockets.

- You can bust the factory gate on the SW side of the map with a tank grenade to get to the truck with more hedgehogs and mines. I brought it back to my base before the first wave started. The barbed wire doesn't work well, which is a known problem in MOWAS2. Putting hedgehogs on the SW bridge stopped a Hetzer tank. I found ti was pretty helpful to run hedgehogs in a line from the south central house, westward to the boat dock, and then northwest to the house on the western edge of my base.
- There is a tower on the east side for your sniper to get on. But he got surrounded and then killed on about wave 4. I am not sure you can really have him there protected.
- In the 2nd wave, the enemy uses a halftrack from the SW corner of the map. A PTRD AT manual rocket would be good to fight this.

The Description says:
"-When you see that enemy brings artillery to battlefield, try to destroy it with plane reinforcements."
This makes me think that the Designer intended for you to turn Fog of War OFF.

Mweh, not much quality. Just normal for such a small map-mission. Would be nice if you could get some normal ammo too as an option. Got bored after wave 25.

Lovely little mission, I did not expect this amount of quality. Though I have to say it's a shame that it never ends, I think it would be a lot more satisfying if the player had an end goal to strive for. How about reaching wave 100? It's almost impossible, but at least the mission would then have an end.

Enjoyable little mod, I eventually got to wave 72 or there about's on Normal difficulty. I wanted to try and get to wave 100, but I had so many corrupt save crashes and glitches that I had to surrender to that in the end. By the time I got to 72, the battlefield was an absolute mess, it was hardly recognisable from what it was at the start. What the mod needs though is to spawn out destroyed tanks and vehicles or implement a bulldozer. Wish I knew what my final tally of kills was, but I'm beaten by those saves and crashes.

great map, espescially many kinds of support from plane, but after survive 15 waves it starting get boring, great idea would be second defcence line or more tasks like capture enemy vehicle but anyway its brillant to me
