I love The Settlers, and this looked like a fun game. Played for a couple hours, then came back to play more and I ran into problems with the Ubisoft Connect, which you HAVE to install. Even though I linked it to my Steam Account, I still had to login with Ubisoft every time, then they forgot I bought the game and wouldn't let me play. Never play anything from Ubisoft, their Connect app is trash.

Bought during the sale and ending up requesting a refund. Initially linked my Ubisoft account with no problems (complete and utter faff) but every time I tried to open the game afterwards I got the same error message. Fixed it once then the same thing happened again the next time I tried to open the game - Not a rigmarole I want to repeat every time I go to play a game. Based on the other games I play this should be a game I love but I'd rather play something that works the second I click play.

Finished it, love this series.
