I think ... I like tank controls now?!

the remastered graphics make it look like what you thought the game looked like when you were a child.

looks amazing, runs very smoothly. i still have the old classic versions. i got this just so i can swap to the original graphics and play fullscreen, because the oldies don't really run well on modern pc anymore...

haven't encountered any bugs, everything works just like it used to. the level skips and cheats are in the game too.

the TANK controls are the same as well, so it feels really natural for my muscle memory. i can't play with the modern controls with mouse (it feels very wrong to me) but my husband (who hasn't played the original games) said they are also great.

honestly 10/10, hope they remaster 4 and 5 too, they are my favourites along with the 2nd.

The gold standard for older games that receive the remaster treatment.
Reasonably priced, support for modern controllers, modern resolutions and frame rates, and at the press of a button you can go back to the older visuals.
I loved getting all of the achievements and playing these titles without having to mess with mods and Windows Compatibility mode, which was needed for the original Windows titles.

On release there were a few visual bugs, along with other bugs that made some achievements unobtainable. Thankfully these have been patched but I wish the game was released bug free.

Bravo to the development team. It was obvious they are huge fans of the games and did everything they could to make them shine. Thank you for also not censoring the games. I thought that the TR3 South Pacific native tribesman enemies would be the first thing that would be Thanos-snapped away, but thankfully they are still there in all of their cannibal glory. Dr. Willard also still drops the R word in a cutscene which was pretty based.

Please do TR4 and TR5 next! Include Angel of DANKness as well, but that would need a disclaimer upon launch telling people the game was never finished and stinks.
Would also love to have this team remaster Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine.
