We have just shipped an updated Steam Deck Client to the Preview/Beta channel.

General

Fixed collection names being displayed in all uppercase in edit controls.

Steam Input

SIAPI: Fix for analog actions from other action sets incorrectly reporting as active. This affected some titles including Okami HD.
Added "Rotate Output" slider to "Joystick" and "Joystick Mouse" mode settings. This can be useful for certain shmups, or simply to find a more natural "Up" direction on your joystick.

Hi guys, do you think it is still advisable to buy the Steam Deck OLED? Or are we now close to the 2? I had the Deck LCD that I sold, I bought a Legion Go product that I returned because I found it too big for me and it is too immature and I wanted to go back to the Deck. But at this point should I take it or do you think the 2 is close to being released?...

We have just shipped an updated Steam Deck Client to the Preview/Beta channel.

General

Fixed formatting of links in news posts
Fixed a beta client only issue where a game may freeze while trying to set an achievement. This could affect games such as Elden Ring and Dark Souls.

Game Recording

Improved the display of background recordings in the Post Game Summary on library game pages, especially for footage recorded at 21:9 or wider aspect ratios.

Desktop Mode

Timer UI updated to use icons for buttons so that it works better across all languages.
Timer no longer has a Clear button since the new UI doesn't need it.

Sorting options missing from wishlist.

I mean the " sort by discount/ release date etc. " while viewing the wishlist. Currently I can only use those filters on my PC.

Steam Deck Recovery Issues.

Explain it like I do not know what I'm doing. Because I don't. I got the bootable usb drive and have the recovery image on it. When I go to use it, it says the root account is locked and it can't access the console. I do not know what to do after this point. I have googled it, but so far- I am more confused than anything. Some things tell me to do things I don't understand what it means. Or other posts tell me to google it; which I can't decipher the information that I need to fix it. Can someone please...
