Yu Ying-shih

Yu Ying-shih (Chinese: 余英時; 22 January 1930 – 1 August 2021)[1] was a Chinese-born American historian, sinologist, and academic. He was a professor at Princeton University. He was known for his writing about Chinese history and philosophy. He also worked at Harvard University and Yale University. Yu was born in Tianjin, China.

Yu died on 1 August 2021 in Princeton, New Jersey at the age of 91.[1]
