Monetization
Type | Notes |
---|---|
Free-to-play | Game is free-to-play with microtransactions in the form of currency purchases. |
Subscription | Players can purchase a subscription called the Inter-Knot Membership: Weaver, which grants 300 Monochromes upon purchase, and also gives 90 Polychromes every day the player logs in. The Membership can be purchased multiple times, each time granting 300 Monochromes and extending the duration of the subscription by 30 days up to 180 days. |
Microtransactions
Type | Notes |
---|---|
Currency | Real money is used to purchase Monochromes which can be converted to Polychromes at a 1-to-1 rate or used to purchase item bundles in the in-game shop. Polychromes are used to either refill Battery Charges (up to 8 times per day) or purchase the Master Tapes and Encrypted Master Tapes, which are then used to purchase gacha rolls, which is the only way to obtain the vast majority of characters in the game. |
Free-to-grind | Players can earn Polychromes through completing commissions, daily errands and obtaining achievements, among other methods. Players can also directly earn Master Tapes through raising character level cap to certain levels and grinding the free battle pass. |
Loot box | New characters, W-engines and Bangboos can be obtained through a gacha system using either Master Tapes or Encrypted Master Tapes to purchase rolls. |
Time-limited | Limited-time gacha "banners" rotate every three weeks, offering the choice of one banner-exclusive S-rank characters alongside two rate-boosted A-rank characters. |

- Similar to Genshin Impact, it requires the DualSense and DualSense Edge's audio device to have all full-range speaker options enabled in Windows when starting the game with the controller for the first time. It will continue to works even after the full-range speaker options were disabled until the controller and its audio device is removed from the PC via Device Manager.
