Ninja Kamui is an action & fighting anime and it's damn good at it.

Action/fights - that's what promises and it delivers. As simple as that.

Lore - good and interesting enough for such a show; you have some drama, some love, some high-tech bs and some ancient belief system bs. Perfect to explain why people fight.

Philosophy - surprisingly, the show portrays very well the dumb idea that peace & prosperity can be brought by beating the shit out of anyone you don't like and intimidating the rest. It is this kind of stupid ideology that drives the 'alpha male' and dictator types to commit atrocities. Not ...

Before we even get started, I must suggest viewing the entire 1st season. The two are so intricately woven together, it would be nearly impossible to understand what is going on, otherwise. Don't worry, it will be well worth your effort!

In large part because this 2nd season is so well set up by season 1, the writers can get right into the meat of the story and not waste a lot of time about it. And the writing is awesome. This is one fine tale they are telling here. It's like being a kid on Christmas Day. The writers provide us with one awesome surprise ...

Although not perfect by any means, the first season of T.P BON was a solid first entry into this series that was brimming with imagination and adventure with even some moments that turned out to be surprisingly gripping and emotional.

Season 2 though?

It's kind of a disappointing follow up to be honest. Apart from arguably being even more educational about history, this season really wasn't as interesting or exciting to watch due to it pretty much lacking what made season 1 good in the first place. Unlike the first season, the stakes of the missions here were almost non-existent in comparison and also didn't have ...

Shirou Emiya. Never in my life have I hated the protagonist of a story more than this. Never before have I felt so much secondhand cringe from one character, not even while watching RE:Zero. If you ever wondered what happens when you take the ever so honorable women protecting protagonist of a flat isekai anime, take away all his powers, and give him a woman sidekick who's many times stronger than he is, you've got Shirou. This boy caused me physical pain every episode, and every episode I would keep watching, hoping beyond hope that the next one would be better, there's so many good ...

This is one strong donghua, and is definitely a worthy entry in adult animation. It starts out kind of slow, and I thought it was going to be purely an episodic adventure. But it's not. The writers spend the first half of the season doing a fantastic job setting up, and foreshadowing, what happens in the 2nd half and beyond. If you like good writing, Link Click has it in abundance.

The artwork is solid and I found it quite pleasing. This might have the best animation of any Chinese production, although it isn't off-the-chain action packed. Still, it is very quality rendered, without a lot ...

Alright, so this one is a bit back and forth- on one hand, the story isn't the worst. Even if you like mindless entertainment, generic tropes, and simple fanservice that is usually typical of this type of show, I'm still not sure I can recommend this. The show itself is unsettling, to the point where it feels as though it's more CGI than animation, and not by any means good CGI, either. The animation is usually well done, but places where it would shine the most are completely outshined by jarring low quality graphics-- basically, you can guarantee that every scene that isn't a closeup ...

"Reincarnated as a Sword" is what I like to consider "Isekai light", which is where the line between where a story can be considered to be within the "Isekai" genre or the more general "High Fantasy" genre IE Lord of the Rings is blurred. The reincarnation element exists in these stories, however it is only very loosely explored and not given much degree of importance, often taking a backseat to the rest of the plot. This type of writing often gives the impression that the only reason the author decided to include the reincarnation element is to make one of the characters more relatable, but ...

Horrible. The 3D animation and the storytelling is terrible, and many facts are not consistent. The character's psychological seem not according to a logical and rational person, and I really have the feeling that they are all dumb.

Moreover, if I tell about the world building, the author of the anime just copy and paste some scheme of other isekai anime : in brief, there's not any effort about the world building.

Finally, the protagonist has a crazy evolution of his mind et mentality. Firstly, in two episodes, the hero passed out of his trauma. Secondly, ha has crazy skills and the difference level is not respected. ...

Another season, another dungeon-exploring anime, another basic and by-the-book plotline. But here's the catch: lolis. Who doesn't like lolis? Well, a lot of people actually, but if you happen to be into lolis, you're likely going to enjoy it because it features two lovely lolis with adorable voices that will brighten your heart.

The plot is just like your average dungeon-exploring anime: go to dungeon -> kill monsters -> sell your loot -> go home. Yeah, that's basically the whole plot. Anime with this kind of story usually relies on fanservice or comedy. In terms of comedy, it's not really a knee-slapper, and in terms of ...

This show has all the right ingredients but it falls a bit short of the wonderful mix that is Konosuba!

Animation is great, music is in line with the rest of the series and plot is fun and whimsical. That said, the lack of Konosuba's normal cast in this series really highlighted how entertaining the interactions between the main series four characters is.

Yunyun takes over Kazuma's role as the straight man in the comedy, while Megumin remains her chaotic self. Sadly lack of Aqua and Darkness in the jokes and comedic setups is felt. A rotating cast of supporting characters take up some of the roles ...

If you do a google search on 'flashy trash anime" you'll see this pop-up. It is the anime personification of the air-headed bleached blonde bombshell trophy piece of eye candy. The artwork is very pretty and colorful. The animation, especially in the first couple episodes, is superb. But after about the 3rd ep all the potential is flushed down the toilet, and all that is left is detritus.

The art work held up well through the 8 eps I made it through. I must admit I was very impressed with the background work. After the 3rd episode though, it was annoyingly apparent someone slashed the ...

Warning: If you believe the Internet is a safe and predictable place, stop right here. "Serial Experiments Lain" is a series that will drag you down a digital rabbit hole from which there is no return. This anime is a disturbing and enigmatic journey into the human mind and the soul of the network, where the boundaries between reality and virtuality blur until they disappear.

Story: 9/10
"Serial Experiments Lain" introduces us to Lain Iwakura, a seemingly ordinary girl who becomes entangled in a web of mysteries after receiving an email from a classmate who committed suicide. From here, the plot unfolds in a spiral ...

I gave myself a goal to watch as much anime as possible during the summer since, knowingly, I would be quite busy afterward. Myself; Yourself was my first pick, not only because the art style reminds me of School Days, but 'cuz I was more invested that it was originally a Visual Novel instead. Since I can't actually can't play the Visual Novel for whatever reason, I decided the anime would do for now.

Myself; Yourself was a pleasurable watch that took a turn that I wasn't expecting. It may not be Doga Kobo's greatest work, especially given how basic the animation is (ignoring my love ...

After four episodes I feel like it's the time to share my impressions on this series, I think we saw it's going to go on in the next episodes and, possibly, future seasons.

So, this is a simple cute slice of life series about this Ramen restaurant owned by cats and this girl who starts working part-time at the restaurant, the interactions between her and the various cats are always entertaining and wholesome, and we are starting to see more human characters that are friends with the owner, voiced by the amazing Kenjiro Tsuda (also props to the lawyer guy, voiced by Takaya Kuroda, the va ...

Space Battleship Yamato is one of the most important sagas in the history of anime. However, its success was not immediate, and it took several re-runs and especially the release of this film in theaters for it to truly become the cult icon we know today. This film is actually just a recap of the original 1974 series (and therefore a montage of sequences from the series). Its sole purpose is to offer the same story but condensed into just over two hours. For this review, I will focus not on the ...

A surprising anime that is quite original with a highly evolving storyline.
It is a 24-episode adventure anime which begin in the demon empire :
where the demon king of one of the demon castles is defeated in an attack by humans, specifically by a human hero. The demons organize a tournament to determine the new demon king, but surprisingly, a human named Helck participates in the tournament. Who is Helck, given his power? Is he not the hero in question? Why is he participating in the tournament to become the demon king?

I won't spoil the plot because it is the interesting point of the ...

The quest for true love can lead us to unexpected places. This story is truly captivating, exploring the depths of our desire for love. While it may bring joy, it also delves into the heartache that can accompany love. Love is a deeply personal experience that is often misunderstood by others. Through watching this anime, I learned that true love requires a strong connection from both sides. Azuka's love will teach you an important lesson for your love life. Eba another one, because you should never give up. Haruto is a lucky guy, maybe not the best character you have ever seen but, as we ...

This is a Great Anime. It's extremely wholesome. I wanted to write this so that others can get motivated to see it. It's extremely funny and can even make you feel emotional, which is hard to pull both off in the same show. You get a feeling of understanding and a connectedness between you and the mc with his feelings. The characters were a breath of fresh air because not only was everyone very down to earth, but they were all different to each other, not one character was a copy and paste of someone else in the show. I heavily recommend this if you ...

This is what dumb people think a show with depth is. And this is also what happens when a writer who is only capable of writing surface level shit decides to create something "deeper than life" but what ends up being created is some fuckfest of stupidity and unrealistic levels of edginess combined with a main character who is incapable of original thought, whose only trait is to be the kind "delinquent". And of course that kindness starts and ends at girls because if all these characters were males instead than the story would not be what it is because we, men are incapable of ...

Keiki (Cakey) Kiryuu wants a girlfriend. He moans and whines to himself about how badly he wants a girlfriend.

One day he finds a love letter addressed to him with a pair of panties attached.
The culprits are narrowed down to 4 girls (including his younger sister). He crosses his sister off the list because there is no way it could possibly be her...yep the twist is obvious.

The three girls initially come off as being very normal highschool girls. But turns out they have very kinky fetishes.

Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha II (Part 2) - Silver Link, just stop. Nothing that you do will ever restore the series to its former glory.

Let's not sugarcoat this show, shall we? Novelist Shu's Maou Gakuin no Futekigousha is actually a decent series. However, the anime enters in a literal exercise in frustration in trying to flesh out the bigger sum of the picture: the Selection Judgement, in its many arcs, being a larger-than-life story than the easy-going Season 1, which was very straightforward and simple to digest. Make no mistake, it's not the anime's fault for going into a rather complicated plot with Season 2, ...

If you ever are suffering of insomnia and sleepless nights, boy do I have an anime for you.

Me going into this anime ignoring the strange title and hoping to be proven wrong about the low expectations I've set, would've never expected the slumberfest awaiting me. I'm truly perplexed as to how I've ended up disappointed while not expecting more than a far below average show.

This is truly one of the most boring pieces of media I've ever come across. Nothing really interesting happens in the first 3 episodes of the show.

The final season of this beloved anime has left me with a heart full of warmth and a smile that won't fade anytime soon.

The third season continues to follow the everyday lives of Takagi and Nishikata, and their adorable game of cat and mouse. But what sets this season apart is its focus on character development and relationships. We get to see more of Takagi's vulnerable side, and Nishikata's determination to finally win a game against her is more endearing than ever.

The animation is as vibrant as ever, with beautiful scenery and lovable character designs. The voice acting is superb, bringing depth and emotion to ...

The 4th season totally ruins the hype built up from the first 3 seasons. The story is anticlimactic. The power system is totally broken.
The fights were insipid. The characters that we liked such as Escanor were nerfed and characters we didn't really care for such as King were buffed up. Ban's power up after returning from demon world was uninspiring. Ludiocel's character development was ridiculous and so on. Im hoping the next sequel works on the shortcomings of this season because there is plenty of scope in the plot to do so. The art style is consistent with the previous 3 seasons and signs ...

Fun, fun, fun.

Is what can be best described as when it comes to this show. While also being a semi realistic take on VTubers, and VTubing as a whole. As VTubers come in all shapes and sizes. I say semi realistic too, as it's not 100% of what and how VTubing is like or goes. But it's certainly a very close enough take, that it almost feels like it is. If you are a fan of VTubers, then you're going to love this show, and everything that it stands for. Let me explain.

Fluent Story Flow + Great Character Developement
Hype is on fire all the show! Go watch it, you won't understand how time passes by.

"Attack on Titan" is one of the most gripping and thought-provoking anime series I've ever watched. From the very first episode, it hooks you with its intense action scenes and a premise that feels both fresh and terrifying. What sets this series apart is how it evolves in each season. It begins as a desperate struggle for survival but gradually reveals layers of political intrigue, moral ambiguity, and deeply personal character journeys. The main characters, Eren, Mikasa, and Armin, start as ordinary kids ...

This point is where the show completely falls off. The previous seasons and the movie are generic in a lot of ways but entertaining enough to keep watching, this season however is pathetc.
First I will get the obvious out of the way and acknowledge the undeniable drop in animation quality, but beyond that the story and characters become incomprehensibly bad. The most succint way I can describe this without giving specifc spoilers is that there is a character whose allegiance is all over the place, they are double agents, no wait, they are triple agents, no wait, they are back to double agents, no ...

I first watched Tehnolyze almost 5 years ago and I thought it was a masterpiece, so I gave it a 10 and had it on my favorites for a very long time.

Many rewatches later, I still hold appreciation for the show; there'll never be another "Texhnolyze". It's very unique in many ways, and the slow (but necessary) pacing helps filter out the casual audience, which only helps to make the people who like it feel as though as they've been "chosen".

Texhnolyze stands in a very strange middle ground between edgy teenage ramble and an actual mature adult show. The main problem it has is that ...

The single best example of wasted potential. Obviously nothing is perfect, everything has flaws, but this is an oddity because all of it's issues are tied to it's creator intentionally sabotaging it.

He made a world that took off, the setting, the characters, the fights, the power system were all well received. Instead of making the most of the opportunity to explore his own fiction, tell a story, entertain the masses while raking in the money, he has openly admited he is doing everything humanly possible to ruin it, of course he doesn't use that terminology but has publicly said that he kills characters not because it ...

I enjoyed this show, as many other people have, but most MAL users would not. The visual style is somewhat abnormal and the episodes are self-contained. Also, other reviews and synopses overstate the presence of psychiatry in the show beyond a fun setting. The show isn't really about psychiatry; it's just psychiatry-flavored. This is not a bad thing, but if you watch this show expecting something substantial in that regard, disappointment is inevitable.

This idea deserved more than just 11 episodes. My only complaint is that Irabu could've used more screen time.

Semi-spoilers:

I thought the last episode sucked. I fear that if they had made more ...

This is the first side story in the sprawling Gundam's Universal Century (UC) continuity and is also really interesting & engaging.

The Good:
- Characters are great. They are natural. The kid character (Alfred) acted like a proper brat, the rookie character (Bernie) had a chip on his shoulder and was both anxious & hungry to prove himself, and the test-pilot character (Christina) was the most mature of the three protags. Still, the three of them underwent some real development in the process of this 6-episode mini-series and you will at least like 2 out of the 3 protags. Without spoiling, 2 of them got more development ...

I usually don't write reviews but this show is special.
The setup doesn't seem like anything special at first; a love story about two gamers, how many shows have we seen like that already? But what makes this show so special is that it feels so grounded in reality. There are no stupid anime character archetypes and tropes that define how a character will be. All of the characters feel like they could exist as real people in the real world. It makes it very easy to connect with them. How they act and the things they think about are very in line with how people ...

Overall I enjoy this show most for its depiction if Kissui Inn's ongoings. The romance and the drama that rises from it can be hit or miss (miss for me), but Kissui Inn's own drama is fascinating, from my layman's perspective.

"Story", what the show is about: 8/10
Solid depiction of characters growing and finding their footing in Kissui Inn. Genre is a mishmash of slice-of-life, drama, romance (bad at it tho) and comedy. It touches points like parent-child relations and how weird and distant they can be, fulfillment by working, inn management troubles, etc. Some story beats might annoy/disturb (dull romance, writer-freeloader's sexual harassment).

The first season was adorable, but this one takes the cake. Nishikata's antics to try and finally win a game against Takagi-san are hilarious and relatable, while Takagi-san's playful teasing is as charming as ever.

What I love most about this season is how it explores the depth of their friendship. We see more of their classmates and teachers, but the focus remains on the sweet, silly dynamic between Nishikata and Takagi-san. The animation is vibrant, the voice acting is superb, and the writing is witty and engaging.

Some episodes had me laughing out loud, while others warmed my heart. The way the show balances humor and ...

If I need to briefly explain the anime, it's enough to say "Like a Death Note". Code Geass tells the story of characters who, just like Death Note, defeat each other with plans, and they do it quite successfully.

The side characters are not bad (except for 2 characters), I especially liked the Corniela character very much. I've never liked Shiley and Suzaku, they have no purpose and no contribution in the story, they were just put in to be put in, it's OK for them to be in the background, but they're very much in the foreground, which is pretty bad. In general, the ...

To comprehend this film, one requires an IQ exceeding 138, and I only possess a mere 133. There exists a convoluted array of abstract concepts and vacuous symbolism that only the author himself can decipher, failing utterly to resonate with the viewer. It is a cinematographic language so idiosyncratic that it becomes outright vexing.

For whom is this film made? For those who endeavor to watch it, or merely to award yourself accolades, Mr. Miyazaki? The audience desires amusement; they do not wish to squander two hours attempting to unravel your convoluted thoughts or how you are masking your childhood traumas with symbolism. Audiences do not ...

Watching paint dry would be a better use of time. The least productive thing you could possibly think of is still better than watching this the actual worst show I've ever seen. This is more or less a review of the original source material but oh well. I dropped this pretty early on as you can see but not because there were many horrible cringe-worthy moments like the ones in Chobits or Kimi No Todoke. I just didn't find the story to be captivating or engaging. It's a pretty simple slice to life which means that a great deal of the enjoyment from reading/watching comes from character interactions as opposed to world-building, combat, or even soliloquies (which works great in NANA). This is where the issues came in, for me at least, because I found all the ...

8/10 anime, If the animation was actually good this would of been 9/10 for me, but in the end, in this anime they show both sides on how bad it can be even if you are popular or when you aren't, I think the characters showed emotions very well, storyline was very good too, idk how to put it, it was just a good watch... enjoyed every episode!

With the recent popularity of this anime, they spared no immeasurable criticism about it. They are very linear episodes, expect nothing more than jokes that try to catch you off guard but are not the epitome of comedy, rather, it is a somewhat forced attempt to try to make you laugh with recurring jokes referring to deer, which if it is already getting monotonous, I can't imagine watching the remaining chapters. However, it is still entertaining, having charismatic characters that although with repetitive jokes, create a nice atmosphere for a viewer who wants to kill some time, and nothing more than that. They give you enough almost-romance scenes to keep you watching ('oh maybe the next episode will go a little further!'). But no, it never developed into anything. the show is also incredibly repetitive. i watched the whole thing because the entire time, it seemed like this could be a cool anime, but its just not.

Please save your time from wasting this anime!!

Forbidden love of time, space, age, destiny, death, and nature are common and most familiar to everyone. In the 21st century, people got really interested in making the forbidden love of technology. There is obviously some good content in this subgenre, but ‘My Wife Has No Emotion’ is the most pathetic one of them.

A story of a kitchen appliance that was bought by a middle-aged guy who works nine to seven. Overall, that’s the synopsis. It’s not the reason it was labeled as pathetic; the reason was the male protagonist (Takumi). He is really creepy, and ...

This is certainly not my first anime that I've seen where we've had a character (loosely) based off of famed writer Osamu Dezaki, suicidal tendencies and all, even some of his works being incorporated into the show (his most famous work reworded into the title of Isekai Shikkaku, No Longer Allowed In Another World), Bungo Stray Dogs and the Aoi Bungaku series come to mind. Anybody who is slightly aware of this man knows what they're probably getting themselves into, and I was no different.

It's not the giant breasts man, I love giant breasts, it's the fact she behaves and acts like an elementary schooler. This isn't pedophilia, that would be too easy for an explanation. We gather here today, deerly beloved, to take a look at Shikanoko Nokonoko Koshitantan, a special show with many CGI deer friends. I have an inkling that the premise, in the Japanese way of unique advertisement, is to sell the beautiful commodity that is deer crackers. You see, these deer crackers can:
1) Act as payment
2) Potentially save a LIFE
Did I mention, they are crispy not hard? Most delicious and flavorless.

Other elements tossed into the anime thus far include a fun dance with a bopping opening song, yuri bait, cute real life content featuring deerkind, a touch of horror, and, deer god, even some good ...

tl;dr: A sequel season that has a bunch of smaller but still great stories, though it does so at the expense of any progress in any overarching plot lines or character/relationship development in the main couple.

The second season of Kyokou Suiri, AKA In/Spectre, continues to follow Kotoko and Kuro as they deal with various affairs involving both humans and supernatural entities. Seeing how the first season ended with a battle of wits between Kotoko and Rikka, I had assumed that in this season Rikka would continue to mastermind various incidents and Kotoko would continue to face off against her in resolving them.
