award of sequestration

award of sequestration

in the law of bankruptcy in England, the award is in the form of a writ directed to commissioners ordering them to enter the properties and take rents and profits and the goods of the person against whom the award has been made. In the law of bankruptcy in Scotland, the award is made and an interim trustee appointed to report the state of affairs of the bankrupt estate before a permanent trustee is appointed.
