@Dmx
1) It means that now the script(s) will use the V3 API of the Script Hook V .NET
2) Not really since the functionalities are the same between the old and new ones
3) For my scripts, it has nothing to do with LemonUI, since they don't make use of it
@Alex106
Thanks for the explanation, now I understand it better. Was on the wrong track there with LemonUI
@Alex106 the previous version already compiled to API version 3.6.0 of SHVDN😭
@Michael21107 No, it used the v2 API (because the file name didn't have ".2.cs" or ".3.cs" at the end)
The couch in Franklin's house is glitched being in the wrong position and having conflicting textures.
@EggOnToast12 The fix for that bug is included with Fixes & Improvements https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/fixes-improvements
@Alex106 SHVDN log said it compiled to V3 and I'm pretty sure the ''.2'' is only to make V2 (deprecated API) scripts load on nightly versions of SHVND
I'm pretty sure .cs scripts compile to v3 by default (on the nightly SHVDN version at least) but ask kagikn if you doubt me
@Michael21107 Maybe the nightly version compiles them to the V3 API (i'm still using the latest version from December 2022)
@Alex106 your log said it compiled to V2? (the stable SHVDN doesn't work on the latest game version so i didn't think you used that)
@Michael21107 I'm running an older game build, that's why I can use the stable version
This is the log:
[20:03:43] [DEBUG] Loading API from .\ScriptHookVDotNet2.dll ...
[20:03:43] [DEBUG] Loading API from .\ScriptHookVDotNet3.dll ...
[20:03:44] [DEBUG] Loading scripts from D:\Games\Grand Theft Auto V\scripts ...
[20:03:44] [DEBUG] Successfully compiled MapFixes.cs.
[20:03:44] [INFO] Found 1 script(s) in MapFixes.cs resolved to API 2.11.6.
[20:03:44] [DEBUG] Instantiating script MapFixes.Main ...
[20:03:44] [INFO] Started script MapFixes.Main.
@Alex106 i see, gotcha then, wouldn't having both the .dll and .cs file cause issues tho?
I'm not sure why but the fence at Redwood Lights Track still looks like this for me - https://imgur.com/a/xanBTa8
All the other fixes appear correctly elsewhere.
@Alex106 thank you!
@Michael21107 Maybe a bit of slow down at startup (nothing else is executed/checked after the game has loaded), otherwise no. Anyway, there's no need to have both the cs and dll at the same time (like with the ability bar script, there's no differences between the old cs file and the dll)
@Majestyk I checked and it's fixed in both the SP and MP maps. Make sure you're using the latest version of both the "spmapfixes" and "mpmapfixes" dlc packs
@Alex106 gotcha, may I suggest you tell people in a note to remove the .cs file to avoid such slow-downs?
can you use this with: https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/fixes-improvements
@Robbier2713 yep
@Alex106 can you add the grass fix from visual 5 / stryvision?
@MaxLuk Yes. I was actually thinking of doing a standalone/my own version (since R* added a new ytd with the stipple texture for the Diamond casino, which the VisualV dlc pack doesn't replace)
@Alex106 noice :)
