DHL fast-track sessions 2024
at abbey road studios

The return of DHL FAST-TRACK Sessions saw three incredible emerging artists join DHL FAST-TRACK at the legendary Abbey Road Studios for the ultimate recording experience.

Each artist won the experience to not only record a track of their choice with gold selling record producer Hannah V, but to also be mentored by GRAMMY nominated DJ trio Meduza.

In the space of two years, Meduza have become the biggest global streaming Italian artists in the country’s history. They brought a vast knowledge of production, songwriting, and industry insight to DHL FAST-TRACK Sessions, which made them the perfect mentors for 2024.

This year, in addition to the opportunity of being mentored by incredible music industry leaders and recording a track at Abbey Road Studios, each winning artist received a ‘live lounge’ style performance video captured within the iconic Studio 3 – a studio where the likes of Amy Winehouse and Pink Floyd have previously recorded.

MEET THE DHL FAST-TRACK SESSIONS 2024 ARTISTS

Cate Canning

Canadian born, London based pop singer-songwriter Cate combined sugary country pop-hues against vulnerable lyricism whilst recording her track ‘Clean Slate’ at Abbey Road Studios. Her beautifully layered harmonies soared throughout the studio, and after having recently announced she will be supporting Shania Twain, it’s obvious she is set for stardom.

Kenya Murakz

Kenya Murakz made history at Abbey Road Studios by becoming the first amapiano artist to ever record there. His sound fuses together a dynamic blend of RnB alongside an afro-beats bass indicative of the African diaspora. Kenya’s track ‘Risk On Me’ was only elevated further by his bi-lingual lyrics, singing in both English and Swahili which champions his East African heritage.

Erica Knox

Toronto based singer-songwriter Erica Knox took pop-folk to the next level for DHL FAST-TRACK Sessions. Her track ‘Disappointing Me’ merged intimate yet relatable lyrics with catchy acoustic elements, creating the perfect heartbreak anthem. Erica was so inspired by her time at FAST-TRACK Sessions, she even penned a stunning new song in the studio that encapsuled her incredible experience.
