Hi - Okay so I'm trying to comply with the rules about being affiliated with an organisation who produce 3d film. I've not created a user page so am I right to assume I put this in user page? "Andrew Murchie 3D filmmaker user page.

This user, in accordance with the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use, discloses that they have been paid by EYEPOP-3D for their contributions to Wikipedia.

Technically I am just a filmmaker so not employed, nor is the organisation my client so I'm a bit confused as to putting info in here - especially as it's not really accurate. But without adding this I cannot add the 3D films to the 3D film list in wikipedia.

Our films are listed elsewhere e.g. https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-Last-Man-on-Earth-3D-Blu-ray/354540/ - really I'm just trying to make the list accurate as my fellow 3d film enthusiasts are always asking about where to find this info.

No worries, thanks for asking! If you don't mind, what is the nature of your affiliation with EYEPOP-3D? If you are not an employee nor are you being asked/paid to make edits on their behalf, but you do have a connection, the thing to do might be to add the Template:User COI to your page instead. That will let folks know that you have a Conflict of Interest, but are not a paid editor. If you want to edit about a subject that you have a COI with, I recommend using the article talk page to suggest changes and letting other editors implement them - you can use the Wikipedia:Edit Request Wizard to make suggestions! —Ganesha811 (talk) 13:34, 24 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@GiantSnowman: thanks, all the profanity is gone now. In short, the bot is creating archives of ITN template, it is also archiving the vandalism along. I updated some of the code, but covering a lot of words would have lead to false positives, and ITN template is protected for the majority of the time, so working on cleaning up the archive pages seemed better than working on program which wouldn't be used much. Hey! I am new to the Wikipedia, hope you can give me some directions. I want to upload the data from this template to Wikidata: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template_talk:Mycomorphbox I know it has been done before and I know Wikidata contains those parameters for a lot of older articles. But it seems it has not been done in a while. Apparently this tool was used to do it, but I did not manage to make it work: https://pltools.toolforge.org/harvesttemplates/

If (as your modification suggests) you are no longer planning on linking your blog, that's definitely better, but regrettably per WP:STATISTA, Statista is not necessarily reliable and should not be used directly as a source. Please note that you don't have to ask me for permission to edit - the more important thing is that what you do on Wikipedia follows our policies and guidelines, the most important of which are summarized in the Five Pillars.
