My writing

[edit]

I have a novel published in 2022:

I'm the author of nonfiction books:

  • Painting Dragons: What Storytellers Need to Know About Writing Eunuch Villains
  • Bad Fire: A Memoir of Disruption
  • Ten Past Noon: Focus and Fate at Forty

I'm also the author of a bilingual poetry book. It was a finalist for the 2020 Grayson Books Poetry Prize and was nominated for an SFPA Elgin Award. All the poems can be read free online as text or with my audio narration.

I blog on Medium, where I'm ranked as a top writer for LGBTQ topics. I write a lot about transphobia.
