Hey! I'm[2] Fakescientist8000, but you can call me Fake![3] I've been editing under this account on Wikipedia since March of 2020, but I've been editing it[4] since around 2018, at the latest. Feel free to stop by and take a look at my 'Hello' GIF,[5] in many languages.
You'll catch me reviewing articles on in the news on the Main Page,[6] so don't be afraid to say hi to me! :)[7] I'm quite nice. I also help to patrol recent changes, pending changes, and the random article button, so if you see some of my edits jump from one article to another randomly, that's probably why. I occassionally help out with AfD's. I'm a bit busy, so I always appreciate talk page stalkers! If you do stop by, look at my awards! Or don't. I'm not your dad.
If you need my help or want to ask me a question, hit me up on my talk page![8] All I ask is that you remain civil as you do it. Remember, we're all friends here! :) Just do not click this link. Click here to find out how you can contact me.

General stuff, I think
[edit]This is reminders for me from things I've learned on here, if you want to look at them then go ahead.[9]
- Your user/talk page is not actually yours
- Your versus You're
- To versus Too versus Two
- There versus Their versus They're
- Two things about me: I don't know what copy edit means, and I never learned how to fold properly.
- Always leave one space under a section, for formatting's sake.
- Don't ask for responsibilities you don't 100 percent know how to control.
- Be patient!
- WP:MINIMUMDEATHS is the ultimate unwritten guideline on ITN/C.
My sarcastic references/notes
[edit]- ^ Shamelessly stolen from User:Illusion Flame.
- ^ This user uses he/him pronouns, but since this is a userpage, he shall use the first person for consistency
- ^ I am not an actual scientist, fwiw.
- ^ Wikipedia, duh.
- ^ Pronounced G.I.F.
- ^ With a count of 36 article I've helped nominate/update!
- ^ I once tried doing WP:DYK. The article later got deleted. :(
- ^ Hint: It's right next to the 'user page' button on desktop.
- ^ I lied! This is just for general things, I guess.
