Box title

[edit]

Can we drop the words "Command structure of" from the infobox title? I used this box for the organizational structure of the Revolutionary Insurrectionary Army of Ukraine and the phrase command structure is misleading. Jacob Haller 21:45, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, done. Kirill Lokshin 22:12, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Wow. Thanks! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jacob Haller (talkcontribs) 22:18, 1 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Again, "subordinate units" creates problems, e.g. for some small allied contingents, cooperating partisan units, etc. Jacob Haller 12:41, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fine with me; I don't really care all that much either way. Kirill 15:27, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Request to amend Infobox command structure to add State parameter

[edit]

Per discussion at User_talk:R'n'B#Use of Show/Hide in InfoBoxes request addition of State option. (Is this the right to to ask?) OR explain why the Command Structture box at United_States_Army_Research,_Development_and_Engineering_Command does not hide while box at United States Army Communications-Electronics Command always hides (even if |state is set to |state=uncollapsed ) Thanks. ArmyRetired (talk) 12:10, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The automatic show/hide behavior is tied to the number of collapsible templates on a page. If I recall correctly, the default setting is that a single template (as on United States Army Research, Development and Engineering Command) will be opened, while multiple templates (as on United States Army Communications-Electronics Command—note the navigation box at the bottom) will be collapsed.
Considering that this template is usually used as a single auxiliary infobox, would it make sense for it to always appear uncollapsed? Kirill [talk] [prof] 15:29, 12 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
