- During the Cell Saga, we saw Vegeta and Future Trunks enter the Hyperbolic Time Chamber as part of their training to defeat the Androids and later Semi-Perfect Cell.
Thanks to training together, they both learned Super Saiyan Second Grade and Super Saiyan Third Grade, with Vegeta wise enough not to use the latter as it slowed a fighter down too much (although he neglected to share this information with his Future son).
- In any case, we got the events that followed; Vegeta letting Cell become Perfect over the promise of a better fight despite Future Trunks' efforts to stop him (Vegeta getting beaten to a pulp by the bug man as a result), with Future Trunks then been humiliated by Perfect Cell when he pointed out the flaws of the third grade Super Saiyan form; only sparing Trunks due to wanting to test his strength against the Z-Fighters in a Tournament.
In the original, Vegeta would later go back in the chamber by himself but come out disappointed by his lack of gains, while Trunks also apparently went back in alone as his hair went from this to this by the time of the Cell Games.
- However, what if Trunks went in with Vegeta for a second time; either by convincing his Dad that they would make more gains together than apart, or by him forcing his way in as both he and his Dad have some "issues" to work through?
Do you think it would make any difference against Perfect Cell (and beyond), or do you think things would mostly just play out the same now and afterwards for both the main timeline and Future Trunks' timeline?
Curious to see what you guys think.

I address all the ill-informed opinions used to berate Dragon Ball Super, abd destroy them all!
Do consider joining us on our Quora Space!
(No more rants for a while! Whew, that took out a lot of my frustration.)
I've been thinking about this one for awhile, and while I used to think one was better than the other, but now I'm starting to think that they both fit their respective adaptations well. Now, I'm not here to argue which form gives a bigger power boost, and whether anime Goku should've gotten PSSB over Blue Kaioken, which is what I originally thought before; I'm here to explain how I've realized how each form fits their adaptation of Blue better.
Perfected Blue in the manga is basically just applying the principles of Mastered SSJ in the Cell Saga to SSB, where the user condenses all of their godly energy into their body, boosting their power exponentially and leaving no trace of ki aura. The power boost was so great that it allowed Goku to fight on equal terms with Fused Zamasu, who he was previously getting ragdolled by, and prepare a powerful Hakai blast. This form was created because in the manga Blue has a serious stamina drain issue, retaining its full power only in the initial moments after transforming before dropping in power drastically. The power drain was so bad Vegeta had to train and create a technique to rapidly switch between God and Blue, because SSG not only consumed less energy, it allowed the user to move faster than they would in SSB; the speed boost thing never really made sense to me but whatever. I have a personal headcanon that the rapid stamina drain is due to the emotional imbalance of combining SSJ and SSG, but anyway, like all forms, Perfected Blue has one harsh drawback, that actually makes it really similar to its contemporary Blue Kaioken. If one lets even lets a little bit of all that condensed godly energy leak from their body, they will experience excruciating pain, sort of like how if the user's body isn't strong enough to handle the level of Kaioken they are using properly or if they don't control their ki perfectly, they end up harming themselves.
In the anime, SSB seems to have no stamina drawbacks whatsoever from what I know, I could be wrong, correct me in the comments if I am. The anime figures that since SSB requires a calm heart and mind to control, and Kaioken has those same principles, why not combine them? Blue has no noticeable stamina drain after all. The problem in anime Goku's case was that his body was not strong enough to handle it at first, and it led to what King-Kai called an anime-only phenomenon called Delayed Onset Ki Disorder, in which Goku could barely control his ki, and his metabolism was seemingly affected, as Goku did not eat as much as he usually would. Eventually, this affliction passed, and Goku was able to train his body over time to the point he could use Kaioken times 20 along with SSB, and not experience any drawbacks whatsoever.
At the end of the day, while I still do prefer PSSB conceptually, and otherwise do think that Blue Kaioken looks cooler, I think both fit their respective adaptations of Dragon Ball Super well and I wanted to highlight this. If you actually took the time to read this, thank you for reading and leave your thoughts down below.

"We are gonna do a fandub of "Father of Goku, Bardock" as it will be the beginning of the fandub due me wanting to do a joke about Bardock, what will happen to the original 3 published episodes... we will temporarily unlist them until we finished with the Bardock fandub"
Well fun fact, I chopped & edited Father of Bardock into 4 Minute videos which equals to 11 episodes. I am recently down with Episode 6 with today due to the lack of Sound Effect and characters speaking but I will say this...
Making a parody dub without a script is hard however it is rewarding when it is done properly
