🔥 COMING IN HOT 🔥 Our CEO Michael Haenisch sat down with kicker eSport to talk about the recent acquisition by NODWIN Gaming. His – as well as Freaks – story began with attending poorly organized LAN events in the late 90s and early 2000s. From participating to organizing events, Micha set out to change gaming and esports for the better for gamers like himself, ultimately propelling evolution for the industry as one of the most experienced, well-regarded veterans in the landscape. With ups and downs in the past 20+ years, it has not been smooth sailing for Micha, to put it mildly. Time and time again, the company has been put to the test by the market, shift in partner strategy, community expectations and many more curve balls to stay sustainable. 📢 Freaks 4U Gaming has entered into definitive agreements with NODWIN Gaming, for NODWIN Gaming to increase its ownership to 100% through a share swap valued at EUR 30.3 million. 📌 This strategic decision marks a pioneering alliance within the global gaming and esports industry, as Freaks 4U Gaming becomes part of NODWIN Gaming and a key driver of the group’s collective capabilities, while adding emerging market competencies to its core business. 📌 NODWIN Pte will initially increase its existing stake in Freaks 4U Gaming to 57%, the remaining 43% will be held by CEO of Freaks 4U Gaming Michael Haenisch, Senior Vice President Product, TV & Media Productions Matthias Remmert, and co-founder Jens Enders will be swapped at a later time at its option.
