Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? By playing a crossplay friendly between Xbox and pc
What happens when the bug occurs? Error message and back to ultimate team Home Screen
What should be happening instead? Joining friends game/lobby

Fifa 23 friendlies. Am on Xbox he’s on PC. Both have the same versions of the game and played lots of games together. As of Sunday the 7th of august 2023 when trying to join a friendly we get an error message stating the game is no longer available. We have tried inviting each other and doing a full restart. When trying today we got the same error message. I will add pictures.

Hey there, 

The cross-play functionality should be back since TITLE UPDATE #17 as both the PC and console version are on the same game build again.

To active Cross-play head to your Social settings in the FIFA 23 main menu by pressing R2 / RT on your controller. 

• Press the start button to open the Social settings
• Go to cross-play and enter the crossplay settings
  
  
  
• From the please make sure that "Cross-play Enabled" is turned to "Yes".

• Both of the players need to have this turned on, in order to play cross-play matches. 

Please be aware that PC players can only matchmake with Gen5 consoles (PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series S|X).

I want to play with my friend who plays on an xbox one and i play on an xbox series x but i cant invite him because it says the platforms are not compatable with eachother and we both have our cross-play enabled
