Please, find below some information about DLSS 3 Frame Generation removal from F1® 23:

• Why was the DLSS 3 Frame Generation option removed from F1® 23?

Codemasters and our partners work hard to ensure a great experience on all hardware for our passionate PC users. On this occasion, we have made the difficult decision to transfer our effort to ensuring this advanced graphics technology is available in future titles.

• It was available in the Beta and worked for me, what changed?

Running a Beta with our dedicated fans is the best possible way to get coverage for a wide variety of hardware and gather extra telemetry and performance indicators. Frame Generation (as well as many other features and code paths) is something we made available in the Beta so that we could learn as much as possible before launch and ensure an excellent experience for the largest possible player base. Sadly, we weren't able to guarantee a great experience for everyone at launch, and took longer to evaluate the technology with our partners. Ultimately it has not been possible to include the feature in F1® 23 at this time so we are removing the option from the menus to prevent confusion.

• Will it be available in the next game?

We are working hard with our partners to implement and test as many of the latest graphics technologies as feasible. When we are confident, they will launch at the highest level of performance and stability that we, our players, and our partners expect then we will introduce them to our titles.
