Can’t place blue house

Anyone able to help, I can’t place the blue house or the big box building, when I do it goes to land purchase mode and I can’t do anything, can’t go back, basically the game is as good as crashed ….

was excited to start a new game after returning, but this is very annoying…

@Gaddenque Provided that you play logged in to an EA account, I would suggest step 1 would be a complete uninstall and reinstall of the game. Don't play until all updates are completed.
Then let us know.
