It started when i found some sites that focused on car mods for GTA 3. People could then download real vehicles models and scrips for free. So i found some favorit cars wich i downloaded and started learning have to replase them whit the original ones and that ended up be so mutch more fun that i started making a total replasement of all vehicles in the game and following titles. So here i'am, making Real Cars for Gta San Andreas so you don't have to spend all those countles houers and headakes trying to learn the game codes and bug fixing. I whant to finishing of with thanking all model makers for making all this possible.

It means that you are available to play the game in full-HD and some bugfixes from Rockstar that is included in the new version of curse. This Real Cars version will automatically install v.1.01 of GTA-SA in order to work. NOTE: This installation will also work with the STEAM-version of GTA-SA. How to install: Just run the setup and select your GTA-SA game folder and wait for the setup to be finished. !Before Installing! I am not responsible for any software damaged in any kind. Install this mod at your own risk. If you decides to uninstall this mod in the future, NOTE: That you will have to reinstall GTA San Andreas afterwards.

PLEASE! Read the instructions carefully before installing the mod and posting any reports or complaints!

Before Installing!

  • I am not responsible for any software damaged in any kind. Install this mod at your own risk.
  • If you decides to uninstall this mod in the future, NOTE: That you will have to reinstall GTA San Andreas afterwards.
  • This installation will work with the STEAM-version of GTA-SA. How to install in STEAM. Just run the setup and select your GTA San Andreas game folder located in, \Steam\SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and wait for the setup to be finished.
  • NOTE! When you install Real Cars to Steam it will downgrade the game version from 3.00 to 1.01 in order to work properly with the plugins.
  • If you are trying to load saved games that was saved before the mod was installed it will not work because of the downgrade.

About the steam library gta-sa.exe launch, it will not work. Because there is a second gta_sa.exe that the mod is using. Use that one or the desktop shortcut or make a shortcut in your game library on steam.I want to thank all model makers for making all this possible. You will find their names in the !!!Vehicles list!!!.txt.

First let me start off by saying this is a really well put together mod. Thanks for the effort.
I have one problem though. I don't like driving with the keyboard. Before I normally would use my 360 pad for driving, and the keyboard mouse set up while on foot.
After installing this mod, I have lost the ability to use my contrcontroller. Even in the settings menu I cannot assign a thumbs tick to a movement. Is there a file in the mod I can replace with my backup copy?
Also am I required to start a new game? My last save was a 1.01 version.

Hi and thank you! Let´s see here, I actually have newer used a gamepad for playing GTA on a PC before, But i see your problem. I´m sorry but I can´t give you a strait answer why it´s not working right now. About the saves, You´r able to use old saved games as long as it´s not from the 3.00v(Steam version). And a reminder, if you have cars that was modified in the original game and then saved in one of your garages, could make the game crash if you open up that garage in the game with the mod installed.

Hi. I'm using this mod with the 'SRt3 Mipmap 2014' mod and everything is looking perfect except for one thing. Helicopter propellers appear a flashing white when they are spinning. Any ideas?

It is probebly the "spirit texure" for the rotor blades that couses the problem. It has been changed when you installed those other mods probobly.

Thanks for response. Where is the 'spirit texture' file located? Looked inside gta3.img but didn't find this. I can probably manually correct this if I knew the exact file location/type :)

Am using the 'Sound Overhaul Mod v1.0' too incase that makes any difference. I'll disable that and see what happens.
