Greetings,

Another new update for you, this one mainly focuses on bug fixes and rebalancing, plus a few nice improvements. Unless more bugs show up and need urgent fixing, the next updates after this should focus on adding new content, including a planned massive overhaul of how military service works in the mod.

Once the new military system is in place and the current factions are polished and working well, then I'll start on other theatres and factions.

Finally, if you like the mod, please vote for L'Aigle in the 2015 Mod of the Year Awards!

Why you people even bother with this?

This mod is dead!

Even if you visit the discord, you will figure out that this is only small talk and debating site from the Era!
Some times, he posts some pictures of his work just so to keep some people intrigued and bound in there.
Furthermore, if you even ask Docm30 about the next release, he will throw you out like a "garbage in a trush can"!

You get kicked for demanding an update, not asking about one.

I agree with Shapapa, the mod is incomplete missing nations and very few weapons.
However, if the creators of the mod do not communicate anything certain that one loses patience.
Grenadier regiments should also have grenades against forts and add some battle zones.
Spain, Portugal and Turkey, Switzerland, Sweden and Denmark are not there.
Then missing Palermo, Messina as a city of the Spanish kingdom. Spain should be called Bourbon Kingdom.
The same is true for the Kingdom of Sardinia.
Then I won't add anything else.
By adding this the game is complete

Once a year or more I have a desire to return to the good old laigle. I go to moddb hoping to still see an update, but it's still not there. I was trying to offer some donation to accelerate the progress and as I see I'm not the one who offered this, but the author keep silence. Maybe the author can share the modular system of this mod? At least I'll try to make some points for myself

Patiance can only last so long, even the most patient people by now would lose faith. You are having false hope my friend, there is a fine line between needing patiance, and needing to actually be coverd. the dev hasen't shown us patience ever helps, it's been 7 years, kids already started 1st grade since the mod was released. 7 whole years. I will not be patient, because I get nothing from it if I'm patiant for this mod. dev "works so little" but 7 years is just unjustified, is he making a whole godamn game ? or an update ? he can't decide by looks of it, many many other talented modders already put out fine, good quality mods, while he did NOTHING. you are wasting your time.

Mark my words, I can wait until the end of time. And how can I be patient for so long you ask? That's because I don't get too worked up about a mod of a PC game. That some of you find it so necessary to declare mods dead remains a mystery to me. Stay relaxed, stay cool and stay positive, otherwise it won't work productively. And if you can't do all this because you don't have something better to do, then stop bothering this mod and people who can relate. Sincerely, me.

No, you do get worked up, attempting to defend it, and it seems you are quite active in forums about "a mod for a pc game" I do find it nessecery to declere dead, as it shown no proof that we can even remotley call it alive, pictures here and there, with the last one being 2 years ago, and the last update, being nearly 8 if I am not wrong. I'm not bothering this mod, or people who can relate, I'm telling them the facts, this mod is very likley dead, and there is nothing that tells us it's not.
