A mod for Mount and Blade Warband set in Sengoku era, Japan. Based on Phlipp's amazing mod "Gekokujo".
Finding this mod much harder to get into than I anticipated. As it turns out, if you accurately simulate how most Japanese armies didn't really have a uniform, and you quite correctly don't include shields, it turns fighting on the ground into a visually-confusing nightmare where you're not sure who of those coming at you is friend or foe, so you frantically poke at everything in spear range, then get killed in one shot by a stray arrow to the head from someone you didn't know was there.
This is a mod where the previously-trivial tutorial quest to rescue the merchant's brother turns into a brutal trial by fire because any archer in the game can one-shot you immediately. I spent far more time captured by bandits in this mod than I'd like to admit, and it's incredibly difficult to get going.
Turns out, it's more fun to be the general on the horse with a nice comfy shield than it is to be in the infantry, who woulda thought lol
Anyway, this is one I could see myself beating my face against and putting more time into it, but I strongly recommend turning the difficulty and damage WAY down until you get established. Be advised that the number of people in your army needs to be much higher than in Native, to really thrive, and your personal skills are consequently less important than your party skills.
If this kind of experience appeals to you, or you're a Japanese history buff or a weeb (like me lol), you'll probably get quite a lot of enjoyment out of this mod.

Absolutely amazing addition to Warband's roster of mods. It really adds a lot to the already great Gekokujo.

i found some bug went attacking castle or town(i don't remember 0w0) and banners tho, such iritating spears that doesnt break, more item and more place i give you 10. this mod almost perfect, and add troop editing. more speciality with weapons or style. and dont forget lighting. went i attack a castle at night, its really dark, you can add candle like from that era.
sorry for my bad english and many request, but you just make this game alive again with your mods
