Doom is fast. DOOM(4) is fast-ish.
By mixing the movement speed of the old Doom, with the jumping tricks of the new DOOM, this mod is aimed to be a very fast paced experience, therefore it can be quite challenging. Even though there are no hitscan-attacking monsters, their projectiles are "not too fast" at best, "holy crap, where did that come from" at worst. The projectile attacks are there to be dodge-able most of the time, so long as you are keeping an eye (and ear) on your surroundings. However, since this was created with the idea of also being playable on a mobile device via D-Touch, where movement and aiming are somewhat diminished, additional skills were added to fit whatever playing style you prefer. Whether you want a very easy experience with a ton of monsters, or a very difficult one with fewer enemies, it's all covered!
This mod is also completely designed with multiplayer in mind via Zandronum, and extensive care was taken to ensure it works as intended in said port.
Coop with your squad and kick major ass butt.

Death Foretold v2.5 has been released, and we had quite the multiplayer party to celebrate it. Tons of people playing coop made for quite the sight. And the deathmach, as violent and fun as we hoped it'd be!

A: Not necessarily. We may update it further based on time and our own schedule. There's more features we'd like to add, but this is not a full commitment.

The mod is very good, optimized and entertaining but I wish it could climb the walls like in the D4T Crusible, aim the shotgun when using the grenade launcher or the three-shot mode, basically that the secondary fire mode can be used in all The weapons as in D4T Crusible, also a little more blood, not necessarily as much as in the other D4T, but at least to stain the ground a bit when shooting an enemy and stain the wall a little and finally that the enemy It can be trampled when you jump on it like Glorykill from EOA. With that, the mod will be even better. For now, I love it! and I was able to give my opinion thanks and I hope I can see more mods like this
Please add a weapons only, Because i want to play this with a monster texture pack and with not the custom monsters. so please make a version where there are no monsters.
I found a bug in this otherwise beautiful mod (unintentional beautiful doom reference but ok), If you throw a grenade or any Type of grenade/equipment without having collected grenades The slayer's hand will attempt to throw a grenade even though you don't have any and it will do that repeatedly over and over again until you either load your save file, quit the game or start a new game and it's honestly annoying but the mod's pretty much perfect otherwise.
It's more fun when you know how to use the weapon mods, I was bored, looking for a good configuration to play this game, by mistake (which now I do not regret), instead of hitting "Options" i accidentally hitted "mod options ", and i never heard of the secondary fire before, for the secondary fire i press" Q "and for the weapon mods" P ", i also learned that i could get ammo with the chainsaw (i thought this was only for DooM eternal ), so yeah, this is so much fun now!

DBThanatos, can you please add ledge grabbing as a feature? Someone already made it for D4T v2.1, it's available here: Moddb.com
All that would need to be done is change the sprites to be more appropriate to the DOOM Eternal themed mod. I really like what you're doing and you've nailed the gameplay of DOOM 4 and your eternal mod looks really promising. Just the ledge grabbing/platforming elements are missing. If it already is in KUT then I am sorry for wasting your time and can't wait for the beta/alpha.
