The Anno Domini Series totally overhaul the Attila Total War Campaigns in order to tell the story of Europe during the Dark Ages. Our first modification in the series is Anno Domini: 1051 and will totally overhaul the Age of Charlemagne DLC for Attila to make it a real 11th century TW experience. This overhaul will include all custom models and textures for units, new campaign settlements with real 11th century fortifications, overhauled battle and campaign balance and new gameplay mechanics. After that we have planned projects for the Anno Domini: 1096 (First Crusade), Anno Domini: 768 (Charlemagne), Anno Domini: 885 (Viking Age) and Anno Domini: 481 (Clovis).
The Anno Domini team would like to announce the upcoming release of our new total historical overhaul Anno Domini: 768.
This Total War: Attila modification will change many aspects of the vanilla game to be historically accurate. The idea is make it as historically immersive as we can in terms of visuals and gameplay. This includes everything from custom unit models to custom buildings to the updated battle and campaign mechanics. You will be able to fully immerse yourself into a true 8th century experience.
This is the first of many posts about our work on this mod about new unit assets and the newly overhauled Age of Charlemagne campaign so stay tuned for work in progress pics coming in.

Is there going to be Byzantine faction in Southern Italy ?
Good morning I wanted to know when the first version of this mod will be released and what playable features will it incorporate?
Thank you very much and much encouragement with the update
We're working on a campaign demo for our patrons to test, but it'll be some time before we get to a final build.
looks superb with buildings keep it up the good work
I've been waiting for this for years. Will get me back into Attila. Any vague ETA ?
Sorry for the delayed response. We're hoping to have some playable form out by the end of the year.
This is looking nice, i wish you can make justice to the Carolingian armies, because Vanilla Attila failed totally to nail their aesthetic on armor and weapons

For the love of god Osprey is not a trustworthy source at all and the idea that the Carolingians had plate armor on their arms has no archeological basis whatsoever. Namely that plate is complete ******** considering it's trying to justify it based solely on Khazar finds from the other side of Europe, with no cross pollinating evidence at all. Western Europeans for the most part should not have any major aesthetic differences in this period at all.
We're hoping to build on the assets of this mod to make a couple of campaigns spanning the Carolingian empire to the 1st Crusade.
Any news about relase date ?
This looks awesome
Thanks! We're hoping to get some playable version out sometime this year. Can't really make a more precise prediction at the moment though
