gameplay changes:


  • camera max zoom out increased (from 40 to 60)
  • airborne doctrine reworked (WIP)


new units:


  • submachine gun squad (barracks; 4 man m1a1 thompson crew, can be upgraded with a flamethrower)
  • carbine squad (weapons support center; riflemen with carbines, can be upgraded to have grenade launchers)
  • planner squad (barracks; can built basic defences)
  • anti tank squad (barracks; basic anti tank squad, can be upgraded to have 4 members)
  • heavy Paratroopers (through doctrine; better outfitted more health and 100% more badass)
  • spotter (weapons support center; can call in off map mortar strikes)
  • reservists (barracks; weak, very weak soldiers equiped with rifles and pistols, requires infantry doctrine) (thanks to Haze221 for thinking of this unit)


changed units and buildings:


  • Engineer (cant build defences and is 4 man squad, cant get flamethrowers anymore)
  • all crew weapons (now all exitable)
  • all units (will surrender under heavy fire) (thanks to Wilko for making the surrender mod)
  • barracks (can be built anywhere in captured territory)

Planned features:


  • custom icons for both the planner squad and the carbine man squad.
  • reservists balancing.
  • custom textures (maybe).
  • any type of healing unit (healing aura like triage center but then smaller and less efective).
  • extended doctrines (three rows, or just more options).
  • Guard infantry (better stats when not moving, needs more thought)
  • an upgrade for the guard unit to cary heavy machine guns instead of rifles.
  • "Red devil" marine squad

Q: when will we be able to play this mod?

A: TBD for normal people, for beta testers when the american faction is finished

Q: will the mod be finished at release?

A: no, most likely there will still be one or two factions to work on.

Q: can i be a beta tester?

A: yes, but only if you give me advice/if you think of a new unit/if you help me in anyway.

Q: what do i need to play this mod?

A: company of heroes (new steam version (maybe it works with non-steam versions but thats why we have beta testing)) with all factions. (that means [comany of heroes + opposing fronts DLC] or [tales of valor] or [company of heroes + tales of valor] or [company of heroes complate edition].

Q: can i help? :D

A: yes... yes you can.

Q: what can i expect from this mod when it releases?

A: at least the american faction finished (which means: new units, new doctrines). and maybe one or two other faction done.

Q: in what order are you altering the factions?

A: america, whermacht, commen wealth and last but not least panzer elite.

Q: on release can i use your mod and/or alter it in any way?

A: yes, but ONLY the full release version of the mod. NOT THE BETA VERSION (this means every version before 1.0)

Hello eveybody!

Once every two weeks i will upload a video that shows of a unit and all the abilitys that unit might have!


This weeks unit is:

The "Submachine gun squad"

sub machine gun unit disc


They are your basic anti infantry squad, their tommy guns will rip up infantry in seconds and when upgraded to cary flamethrowers their anti infantry power is unimaginable!

They are built from the barracks for 220 manpower and take up 4 population and take 28 seconds to built, one soldier has 80 hitpoints. They can not built defences or gain acces to grenades, sticky bombs and the BAR assault rifle.

planned changes:

  • textures i will try to make them but i cant promise anything.

I have idea for unit: Reservists. They're weak, but cheap and are coming in big numbers (10 soldiers in squad). They're equipped with a M1 carbines and can be ubgraded with M3 "grease guns". They're avilable trough Infantry Doctrine for 1 CP.

the unit is added, for now it is available when you select the infantry doctrine, but i need to balance them out, one squad of 10 reservists vs. a volksgranedier squad goes like this: reservists wiped out, one man dead on volks side, i think im going to give them 40 health instead of 30

maybe 5 should come with m1911 pistols and the other 5 with m1 carbines, when upgraded the ones with carbines get m3 grease guns and the ones with pistols get m1 carbines, other wise they would over power some more expensive units
