Yeah not much to say here, other then I'm back. The last three moths were a bit turbulent, we had to manage some things, change house etc but in the end most things are pretty straightened out.
On other news, my sister is getting married! So I'm a little busy with that having to arrange stuff for the upcoming events as unlike most countries, marriage isn't celebrated in one festivals, but in a total of four separates events.

It has been like that for quite some time now. The funny thing is most of our "aristocrats" don't see this and raises hell every time the military is granted money for equipment or land for new bases. The most hilarious and worrying thing is many of our "Educated" populace believe the we do not need an army as we are "too small to defend against our neighbors" and campaigning to disband our entire military and replace it with a small militia(!). Two teachers of my own university shares the same school of though.
Wowza, the similarities with the problems my country's military is encountering (fight to actually exist) sounds very similar. Seems strange for your nation to be cutting the military off at the knees given that geographically speaking an attack isn't exactly an impossibility. That's the one argument that is brought up in NZ parliament that holds even a slight bit of water, our location makes our military irrelevant. Still rubbish though.

Fortunately most of the mass public supports military expansion so the "aristocrats" don't really get a say in that. I remember when our English teacher tired to share his "ideals" with us and got his argument collectively stomped by my entire batch. Little did he know that one of us was a former Army cadet (She is also my best friend) and more then one third had relatives serving in the force. It was glorious. :D
