Second time I do this blog thingy, and for 2024's Mod Appreciation Week too!
Swelter (https://www.moddb.com/mods/swelter) was easily my 2023 Mod of The Year. It's got a brand-new locale meaning new environments meaning a break from default HL2 locales, new weapons and a player character who is not Gordon Freeman! (And who happens to nearly cave his own skull in at the start of the game...) Also, mod doesn't overstay its welcome
But, the voice acting and story could be a bit better in some aspects but its passable.
