RTX Remix is unable to lock the game's vertex buffer, which leads to the game itself being unable to lock the vertex buffer, resulting in a crash with the game outputting an error log.

GUTS/TorchEd 2 mod/map editor wasn't released yet.

TorchEd 1 was released a few weeks after the game release, so patience is recommended. ;-)

I'm totally looking forward to purchasing Torchlight II. I can't wait to play with some friends in cooperative mode over LAN.
