Unlike other "class-based" games that offer a variety of combat classes only, Team Fortress 2 packs a wild variety of classes which provide a broad range of tactical abilities and personalities, and lend themselves to a variety of player skills.

I think my avatar cleary states the need of hats to be all-classed
It clearly states that they look awful and shouldn't exist

How stupid is that? Do you have any idea how selfish you sound? A lot of people like the hats, use the hats and enjoy the hats. You keep flaming them and saying they shouldn't exist just because you don't like them.

Play against bots. They don't wear hats. Problem solved.
How is it out-of-context? An extra ton of models, textures and sprites (for unusual hats) which increments nothing into the game utilizes extra processing power that could've been used to achieve a higher "FPS" rate, creating a more enjoyable gameplay experience with less stuttering, specially for a fast-paced game like this.
Besides, most of them look terrible and out-of-place.

Do you even know what "unoptimised" means? Because that comment uses the word so horribly out of context, I think you're trying to use words you don't know just to sound smarter.
It's not your game. You don't want the game to look goofy? Don't wear hats. You are practically demanding that other players not wear hats, just so the game will look better to you. That IS selfish. It's a multiplayer game, therefore, you do not have control over the other players. Go play a single player game if it bothers you so much.

This game sucks, i swear in the gay shop, you have to spend like $5 just to buy some gay in-game hat thing, why the hell would anyone want that, you could buy a new game for that much, a better game. Sure, its free, but $5 just for a in-game item, thats BS! that should be the price, for like an whole new DLC...

You don't have to buy anything. If you don't want to, don't do it! It's optional, and it doesn't even affect the gameplay.
