Portal 2 draws from the award-winning formula of innovative gameplay, story, and music that earned the original Portal over 70 industry accolades and created a cult following.
The single-player portion of Portal 2 introduces a cast of dynamic new characters, a host of fresh puzzle elements, and a much larger set of devious test chambers. Players will explore never-before-seen areas of the Aperture Science Labs and be reunited with GLaDOS, the occasionally murderous computer companion who guided them through the original game.
The game’s two-player cooperative mode features its own entirely separate campaign with a unique story, test chambers, and two new player characters. This new mode forces players to reconsider everything they thought they knew about portals. Success will require them to not just act cooperatively, but to think cooperatively.

After over a year of waiting, update 0.4 is here and it contains the first part of the escape (from test chamber 19 to just past where you re-enter test chamber 9). While Escape Part 1 is very close to completion, it's still subject to change with further updates so let me know your thoughts. This update also includes bug fixes and lighting tweaks for the previous Test Chambers.

A multiplayer mod that replaces one of the players portal gun with an actual gun or gravity gun.. that would be awesome.
Or a single player mod where you get teleported into aperture along with a man in a wheelchair and have to help each other escape.
For steam workshop users, I found 2 interesting maps, made by Guile. A laser jigsaw, unique level ! and an other clasic but hard map !
why does it show no mods on page?
You're probably looking at the PS3 version of Portal 2, not the PC version. It always happens. To fix this, scroll up and click on "Home" and then search for Portal 2, again.
