Delivering a visceral WWII gaming experience, Company of Heroes redefines real time strategy gaming by bringing the sacrifice of heroic soldiers, war-ravaged environments, and dynamic battlefields to life.
Beginning with the D-Day Invasion of Normandy, players lead squads of Allied soldiers into battle against the German war machine through some of the most pivotal battles of WWII. Through a rich single player campaign, players experience the cinematic intensity and bravery of ordinary soldiers thrust into extraordinary events.

What should have been a small & quick patch quicly develepod into a real update. As always.
And as always it took longer than planned.
1.6 fixes some more serious bugs - like "scar error"s in campaign missions:
Carpiquet Airport, Trun:Exodus, Opration Deadstick, Sottevast.
Troop surrendering in hard or expert modes has been downtuned.
Offmap spam in Skirmish games has been reduced.
Many detail changes to various campaign and MP missions, mainly due to new units.
Of course this version adds new units to the campaigns or in skirmish:
Renault R35, Panzerjäger 35R, Marder I, 10,5cm le FH 18 Howitzer on Lorraine, Observation Tank on Lorraine, Taylorcarft Auster, Piper L4 "Grasshopper", Airspeed AS.51 Horsa and Sherman III.
Other units have been reworked for better quality, more details or more accuracy: 150mm s.FH.13 on Lorraine Schlepper Pak 36, Pak 50, Pak 97/38, m1 57mm AT Gun, Daimler Scoutar, Daimler Armoured Car, Hetzer, and Sherman V / Firefly VC, M10 Achilles, Halifax and the C47.
Masters of the Air. And Ground. All new and refurbished units of V1.6

Ah, and a sidenote:
This will be the last version that feautures original CoH( or similar ) stats and gameplay.
It is time for Immersion 44 to move from skinpack to a full-grown Modification.
The next step will mainly focus on adding more realism.

I'm using the steam version of Company of heroes and when I start any battle, the game crashes to windows and a Relic crash report appears. Are there any solution to fix this? I used to play it just fine on my laptop.
The Back to Basics MOD only works for the retail version from relic not the steam version, I have both versions and attached the MOD to both COH games and steam version does not work for this MOD but the original game (NON_STEAM VERSION) works flawlessly.
Actually, I use the Back to Basics with the Steam version, all it does is create a pop up to confirm a third party .exe, and it runs great.

Whats the best mod that expands the Americans, British, Wehrmacht, and Panzer Elite? Im liking Europe at War, but its not enough. Blitzkrieg didnt excite me enough.
