It was a long and incredible journey, where it became the only one to be considered the Best Call of Duty mod in the World 3 times in its history, it was given the nickname EPIC MOD by the renowned FPS website BashandSlash and it was recommended to play it alongside instead of Modern Warfare 2 from 2009 by the also renowned website LowPings.
It was where the first Battle Royale in the history of Call of Duty was made, the first medic system, the first help system today present in practically every Coop / Battle Royale game on the planet, it was where the Alcatraz map became popular, it was where the Forever System of changing the game with each play was born, it was where the War Server was created, it was where dozens of Gametypes now popular in FPS were created and perfected and it was the basis for the creation of Call of Duty Rio.

unfortunetely for you's who dont like this game, it is one of the best ww2 games, if not the best, ever made. I am not a fan of this game, and yes Cod 4 pwns it, but no need to bash it. You could not make a better game, you shouldnt bash it, because it makes you look like a huge ***
Only little British kids play CoD4, CoD4 is for little punks who are wannabe soldiers. if you want to learn about Current military just look at CNN.
WaW is a great game and it beats the **** out of MW2 and CoD4

They're ***** because they have a personal preference? I'm sick of people telling gamers what they can and can't like. Just because the developers can't do better doesn't mean that we should treat their game as if it were good. Criticism and discontent is what drives the world to improve.

Just finished playing it and meh, nothing really special, it had its moments but I'm ****** that the freakin price would not budge for a freakin year! I mean come on microsoft, really that greedy? After finally breaking down and paying for it I expected soooo much better then that, I feel alittle ripped off right now. Also, to play lan coop in my house I have to buy another 50.00 game? You can go to hell!

Damn this always talking russian guy was freaking annoying and so uncool in the campaign, for me he was like jar jar binks in Star wars episode 1... There was no real story just hopping from one place to the other, the bots (ai) and due to it, your teammates are stupid as sh!t, they run into your gunfire or right in front of you while you are shooting. On this beach landing level, one of you teammates shoots all the time with the shotgun, while standing behind a sandbag. Then yet again, he uses it the shotgun all the time withour hitting far away targets. 2 teammates dont wear helmets by default which is just retarded. and so on and so on. Sorry I wont buy this game, cod4 was so much better.
edit, IW broke MW2 way hard, no diffrence really but they made it lobby/matchmaking system, like the consoles now, o and they talked to VALVe so now this game must be installed therw steam WTF!!
4 had fail campaign and always will,i just liked its MP i like 5 cause of zombie mode. campaign made no utter sence as well rofl, switch from pacific to europe every 3 5 missions P. but a second modern warfare? LOL. but awesomer news, is that its developed by IW WOOOOO. now idk why treyarch came outta no where and made 5 but ehh. 4 and (and soon MW2)will rape this game

IMO this version of CoD is fail. I don't like weapon skins, I don't like campaign because it's stupid to run around with endless flamethrower and burn those helpless japans. In my opinion game failed because it was developed by Treyarch (like CoD3 which also failed).
As you remember all Activision-made CoDs were popular. You're just not old enough if you like CoD:WaW
Treyarch made one of the best Cod the United offensive expansion, it was, is, will be awesome, but yeah all the others where fail, except the zombie mod :/
I hate zombie mod , they failed in it because zombies are NOT COD , i damn want same mode with single player enemies.Zombies = fail.Zombies = overhyped BS.Unless they shoot back and act like single player opponents :(
