It was a long and incredible journey, where it became the only one to be considered the Best Call of Duty mod in the World 3 times in its history, it was given the nickname EPIC MOD by the renowned FPS website BashandSlash and it was recommended to play it alongside instead of Modern Warfare 2 from 2009 by the also renowned website LowPings.
It was where the first Battle Royale in the history of Call of Duty was made, the first medic system, the first help system today present in practically every Coop / Battle Royale game on the planet, it was where the Alcatraz map became popular, it was where the Forever System of changing the game with each play was born, it was where the War Server was created, it was where dozens of Gametypes now popular in FPS were created and perfected and it was the basis for the creation of Call of Duty Rio.
The truth is that all of today's FPS/TPS would never be the same without Call of Duty Frontlines.
And everything was done for free by just one person in their free time here in Brazil, mainly with the intention of having fun with friends. And for over 16 years these same friends have continued to play it regularly.

Would be awesome if someone could make a mod like the Axis Player Mod from WaW. Play as Russians in campaign ftw. :P
before anyone complains about Black ops not working on your bad laptop/pc while mw2 does, its because the devs didnt use the IW engine used in mw2, they used WaW's engine(or infact, CoD4's) instead for the zombie mode, according to the wiki:
CoD:WaW's engine is IW 3.0 (Same as CoD 4),
while CoD:MW2's engine is IW 4.0, which is alot better than all
the engines used so far for the CoD games as it was very optimised in performance and quit playable even on bad laptops and or pcs;
but in CoD:BO it used a Modified IW 3.0 WaW engine probably for the zombie mode.
i just tought to leave a little note about that :)

The CoD fanbase can be quite unpleasant.
I have never played the BO's MP, but the SP was largely better than any other CoD Sp I had played, and I played them all. I really hate CoD, but as I'm a gammer, I must know what I'm talking about before hatting it. MW2 SP was more than stupid, the ending was totaly lame. BO has a really dark feeling, with a well done storyline and it is really fun to play it.

I liked CoD 4's MP the best CoD (excluding CoD games before CoD 4), but the Singleplayer of BO has to be the best I've seen in a Call of Duty game.
Black ops,World at War,MW1 and COD 2 are the best =D.
