NaN Resources

Description (last modified by scythetwirler)

I encountered a natural resource field, that contains NaN units of metal. While nice in the game (the NaN propagates and behaves as infinity), I think this should be fixed.

Attached: a gamesave that contains the broken mine. (south of the base)

Well, turns out the file is too big too be atached here. You can get it here: http://florianjw.de/diverses/0ad_nan_save.0adsave

I wonder if you can provide the commands.txt from that game session? (they are recorded in the game's log directory, in sim_log and numbered by process ID, so it might take some searching). You can zip the file before attaching here if it's too big.

Otherwise it seems like a difficult error to reproduce though it has been reported before, and any more info you can provide would be very helpful.

I guess the file I just added is the correct one. (I'm not completly sure if it is the correct session.)

A display of NaN probably was encountered by a divide by zero or other such error that had debug attached to it that created the value of infinity in place of x/0. If someone wants to look into the field generation I'm just getting into this and haven't had time to look into the code.
