Unstable Transmissions are items exclusive to Don't Starve Together, introduced in the Skill Spotlight Updates. They can only be obtained by Winona after learning the Founder's Keepers II skill. One Unstable Transmission drops from an Advanced Cachebox, which can be found by wearing the Inspectacles. When dropped on the ground, the Unstable Transmissions will disappear after a few seconds. Other characters cannot see or interact with them and they cannot be placed into containers such as Backpacks or Chests.
Usage[]
Winona can scan Unstable Transmissions with a Calibrated Perceiver to learn a recipe. If the Unstable Transmission looks like a dismantled Telipad, Winona will learn the Teletransport Station recipe. If the Unstable Transmission looks like an Telebrella, Winona will learn the Portasol recipe.
