The Rose-Colored Glasses are a head-slot item exclusive to Don't Starve Together, introduced in the Skill Spotlight Updates. They can only be crafted by Winona with 12 Petals and 3 Twigs after learning the Shadow Seeker I skill.
Usage[]
UsageOnly Winona can wear the Rose-Colored Glasses. They can be used to "Closely Examine" objects for certain actions:
Vine Bridge[]
Winona can use the Rose-Colored Glasses to create a temporary Vine Bridge over short gaps between coasts. When there is an opposite coast with a gap of 1-3 tiles, the option "Closely Examine" will appear when hovering the mouse over the coast. Doing so will spawn a "Dark Vestige", that can be activated to spawn the bridge. The bridge will decay after 18 sec, indicated by a shaking close to the end. Standing on the bridge while it disappears will make the character drown; before the bridge decays, the character will give a warning.
Looting[]
Winona can also use the Rose-Colored Glasses to closely examine Charlie- or shadow-related objects to spawn a Dark Vestige. Activating the Dark Vestige will drop a Nightmare Fuel from this object. There is a cooldown of 4 minutes to activate the Dark Vestige again.
After learning the Shadow Seeker II skill, there is a chance for Pure Horror to drop instead of Nightmare Fuel with a chance of 5% or 25% depending on the object:

Wormhole and Big Slimy Pit Traveling[]
After learning the Shadow Seeker II skill, Winona can use the Rose-Colored Glasses to closely examine Worm Holes or Big Slimy Pits (holding "Alt" on the keyboard is required to force the examine option), activate the Dark Vestige and travel to any already explored Worm Hole or Big Slimy Pit on the Map.
Fragile Rose[]
After learning the Shadow Seeker II skill, Winona can use the Rose-Colored Glasses to closely examine Flowers (holding "Alt" on the keyboard is required to force the examine option), activate Dark Vestige to turn it into a Fragile Rose and pick it up. When Winona dies with a Fragile Rose in her inventory, she will be revived next to a Night Light or next to the Florid Postern if no Night Light exists (or Cave Exit when in the Caves).
When the Fragile Rose is dropped on the ground, it will disappear.
