Eternal Frost Comes to MMO New World; Details of New Season Revealed

Next month, the popular MMO New World will launch its fourth season of gameplay. The developers revealed what awaits the participants.

December 12 will see the launch of the fourth season in New World. The event, titled Eternal Frost will bring players a ton of activities. The developers from Amazon Games shared details on the official website of the game.

The fourth season in New World should be of interest especially for those who have bought the Rise of the Angry Earth DLC. With it, they will gain access to the following novelties:

  1. seasonal storyline - The Knight of the Round Table has discovered the forbidden knowledge of the ancients and intends to enslave humanity using the power of eternal winter. Players will be tasked with assembling a team of Silver Crows and, with the help of fire mage Daichi, defeat the enemy.
  2. season pass - Eternal Frost will introduce a seasonal adventure, activity card, challenges and rewards, including cosmetic items and utility items.
  3. expedition - this time, players will have to go to a glacial tarn located in the Great Rift (accessible from level 65). Their task will be to discover the cave complex hidden behind the Empire Forge and get the knight - Sir Loth. To complete the task, players will have to master the magic of the Empyrean flame.
  4. artifacts - the developers have prepared 8 new artifacts for players. Thanks to them, players will be able to, among other things, stun and damage enemies with the Boltcaster Bow, increase their speed and reduce the cooldown with Winged Shoes.

Developers from Amazon Games also announced quite a few updates that will be added to the game at a later date. Among them will be cross-server expeditions with better group search and seasonal events: Winter Convergence and Legacy of Crassus,
