DECIDE HUMANITY'S FATE
Within the Cosmos is a first-person sci-fi RPG. The year is 2278, and humanity is on the verge of extinction. You were sent there to preserve the human race, as they are fighting a war, against an alien life form, that they will not win. You are one of 500 people who work for UESA (United Earth Space Agency) who were put in cryogenic sleep and sent to the planet 'Alios'. A planet that is tucked away in the Adallio star system, hidden, and far from the war. However, once you arrive, you and your crew come under attack by an unknown enemy, and you begin notice that things didn't quite turn out as expected. Your ship is the last one to arrive, 107 years late. The mission to preserve our species has taken a dark turn. While attempting to preserve our species, differing views and beliefs have once again caused division to plague humanity. Various factions spread across the stars, and tensions running high. How will you help shape the future of our species, as humanity faces its greatest enemy yet; themselves.
BUILD YOUR CHARACTER
After creating your characters appearance, you have the capability to build your character according to your playstyle. As this is an RPG, you'll set your characters Attributes using options ranging from Constitution, Agility, Intelligence, Perception, and Charisma. As you progress through the game, you'll level up and increase a numerous amount of Skills. You can build a hacker-stealth character, who prefers to hack their way through areas and avoid being spotted, gunslinger who shoots first and asks questions never, a smooth talking character who talks their way out of situations instead of resorting to violence, or any other combination you can think of. With the combination of all of these systems, you can truly build a character that is your own.
TRAVERSE ACROSS THE STARS
Travel to multiple locations ranging from planets, towns, and other locations. Each with their unique biomes, and storylines which will have an impact on the outcome of humanity's future.
UPGRADE YOUR IMPLANT
Throughout your journey, you'll be given opportunities to upgrade your implant by downloading new software. New software will unlock various abilities that you can use in countless situations to benefit you and your playstyle. Want to get passed an enemy while undetected? Use the CLOAK software. Want to detect life forms through walls so you can plan your next move, or learn more about a target before deciding on how you'll attack? Use the SONIS-R Software. How about slowing down the world around you so you can escape death or plan your next move? Use the Time Dilation Software!
