Ilija Dimovski comments for Dnevnik that although it is easy to
define patriotism and a patriot, even in daily communication, it was
necessary to present these definitions as protection from possible
attempts to distort the meaning of the uttered words by important
politicians and figures from our daily surrounding. Dimovski reminds of
the statement of current SDSM leader who recently revealed that
patriotism and patriotic politics did not beseem his party. Dimovski has
nothing against this politics of SDSM but advises SDSM to be clear and
transparent and explain to citizens what this means exactly, especially
before taking part in elections and before demanding the support of the
Macedonian voters.
